Another Remake ……. Ugggggg Ive seen RoboCop , its fine the way it is. Let it be what it is. Seriously people need to come up with some original ideas. The original RoboCop was awesome the way it was. The second was pretty good and yes the third was absolutely horrible. This doesnt mean we need a remake. What we need is someone to come up with new characters and a new story. We need film makers to start using their imaginations.
Director Jose Padilha talks RoboCop remake
If you’re in the camp that hates remakes of existing films and brands them pointless then director Jose Padilha’s description of the upcoming RoboCop reboot at least sounds like a step in the right direction.
The Brazilian says he won’t simply repeat Paul Verhoeven’s work from the 1987 film.
“I love the sharpness and political tone of RoboCop and I think that such a film is now urgently needed.”

Greenlight for Kevin Smith’s Secret Stash TV show
AMC has commissioned the TV series Secret Stash, produced by Kevin Smith and set in a world familiar to fans of Jay and Silent Bob: the comic-book store.
“Draper. Meth. Zombies. This show couldn’t be on a better network. AMC is to television what Miramax was to cinema back when I first got in the game - they’re the premier destination for any story-teller looking to spin an offbeat yarn that no other outlet has the stones to touch,” said Smith.

Billy Crystal talks Monsters, Inc. prequel
Billy Crystal has been working so hard on the prequel to Monsters, Inc. that it’s brought out the animal in him - he’s become a little hoarse. (Thank you, we’re here all week).
“I spent five-and-a-half hours today for our fourth session on Monsters Inc. 2,” he told an audience at a 20th anniversary screening of City Slickers. “That’s why I’m a little hoarse.”
Seriously though, the 63-year-old actor said he was really enjoying working with John Goodman again: “We’re having a blast together. It’s really a great script, it’s really funny.”
